Win a £250 voucher at Michelin-star Trishna or Brigadiers

We are excited to announce our partnership with JKS Restaurants to raise money for our projects in India. The renowned restaurant group have donated two vouchers worth £250 each. One voucher is for the Michelin-starred restaurant, Trishna, and the other for their Indian BBQ inspired restaurant, Brigadiers.

We will be holding a raffle at £5 per 10 tickets. There will be two names drawn on the day for each of the restaurant prizes on offer. The winning £250 vouchers can be used for both food and drink at the designated restaurant and are valid for 10 months. All proceeds for this raffle will go to Avasara Foundation who will use the donations to launch a female empowerment project in India.

Avasara works with vulnerable communities and, in the face of COVID-19, many women and families are struggling to survive. Avasara is partnering with The Disha Institute in Pune, India, to launch a project to train 15 migrant women in rural areas how to tailor clothes, as well as basic business skills. We will prepare them with the skills to be able to earn an income and provide for their families. It will be both economically empowering as well as confidence building for a group of women who have never been given a chance, and at a time when they need an opportunity more than ever before.
